Over 8 years of proven experience as an Email Server Administrator or in a similar role, adept in managing and maintaining email server infrastructure.
Strong expertise in email server technologies, protocols, and standards (SMTP, POP3, IMAP, etc.).
Proficiency in email server administration software (e.g., Microsoft Exchange, Postfix, Sendmail, Exim) and relevant tools.
Experience in configuring and managing email security measures like spam filtering, virus scanning, and encryption.
Familiarity with power MTA, email server performance monitoring, and troubleshooting tools.
Sound understanding of network protocols and configurations relevant to email server administration.
Proficiency in email server backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting complex email server issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, working effectively with cross-functional teams and end users.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adept at managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for task automation is advantageous.
Relevant certifications in email server administration (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Exchange Server, Linux Foundation Certified Engineer) are beneficial.
